After retiring from the Army, he joined the faculty at the University of Connecticut as the Chief of Dentistry for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Shortly afterwards he became the pediatric dentistry residency director for the School of Dental Medicine. He retired from the University after more than 13 years of service. During his tenure as residency director he trained 75 pediatric dentistry residents, published numerous professional articles with his residents, presented seminars to professional organizations and was active in his specialty at the local, state and national level. He is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and currently serves as an examination committee member and consultant for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Greg and his wife Lin have been married for 36 years and have two children. Although Dr. Greg served his profession as an educator and administrator for many years his main passion is clinical dentistry and working directly with children and their parents. He looks forward to many more years of treating children in private practice as he joins Hilgers Pediatric Dentistry.
