Meet Dr. Roman-Borecki
Pedodontist in Goodyear
Dr. Dalyann Roman-Borecki was born and raised in San Juan, PR. She attended the University of Puerto Rico and majored in biology with a curriculum focused in pre-dental education. With a keen interest in a career in dentistry, Daly spent most of her summers of college shadowing different dental offices to learn more about as many disciplines of dentistry as possible. Dalyann received her DMD degree from the University of Puerto Rico Dental School of Medicine in 2010 and soon discovered a passion for treating children.
Later that same year, Dalyann was accepted into a General Practice Residency Program at Oklahoma University Health Science Center with Children’s Physician’s Hospital and VA Medical Center. During her time there, she realized that pediatric dentistry was without a doubt the area of dentistry that she enjoyed the most, and wanted to pursue a career in that particular discipline.
After completing her GPR in Oklahoma City, Daly applied for and was accepted into the University of Puerto Rico for a six month orthodontic fellowship. Soon thereafter, Daly was hired by Amarillo Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in Amarillo, Texas as a full-time clinician where she provided care to a variety of pediatric patients.
Daly decided it was time to specialize in pediatric dentistry so she could provide the best care possible to her patients. She was accepted to the NYU Lutheran Langone Health System in Phoenix, AZ, completing the program in 2016.
Giving back is important to Dr. Dalyann. She has participated in Mission of Mercy events and enjoys the blessings of giving to others. When Dr. Dalyann is not taking care of patients, she enjoys gourmet cooking, traveling, reading, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with family and friends.
