Juliana Redford, DDS
Meet Dr. Juliana, Pedodontist In Goodyear
Dr. Juliana Redford is from Colombia, South America. She completed her dental degree from Universidad Santo Tomas de Aquino followed by a two-year specialty program in Pediatric Dentistry from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. After completing her training, she managed her private practice while also working as a faculty member in the Pediatric Dentistry Department at Colegio Universitario Colombia before moving to the United States in 2002. In 2008, Dr. Juliana became a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Dentistry Department at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry. She completed a fellowship in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) from KU Medical Center and the Internationally Trained Faculty DDS Program at UMKC. Recently, she was promoted to Clinical Associate Professor at UMKC and elected to be a member of OKU Dental Honor Society. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Southern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Juliana is passionate about working with children, making a difference in their lives, and serving the community. She is fluent in Spanish and uses her knowledge and skills to better help patients and their families understand and improve their oral health. She taught and mentored students for almost fifteen years at UMKC and worked part-time in community health dental clinics with children.
Recently, Dr. Juliana and her family relocated to Goodyear, Arizona, and she is excited to be a part of the Hilgers Pediatric team. Apart from her work, she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, exercising, biking, and playing tennis and pickle ball, with her husband. She also values spending time with her family, and her dog, Cooper.
