Meet Dr. Sarah Takahashi, Pediatric Dentist in Goodyear

Dr. Sarah Takahashi grew up in Pleasanton, California. She attended Wesleyan University, where she double majored in Biology and Neuroscience and played NCAA Division III ice hockey. Besides playing ice hockey, her time coaching youth hockey sparked a strong passion for mentoring and supporting children, which ultimately guided her toward pediatric dentistry. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and completed her pediatric specialty training with the NYU Langone residency program in Hawaii, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Sarah is excited to be part of the Hilgers Pediatric Dentistry team. She feels so lucky to care for her amazing patients and is dedicated to making every visit fun, positive, and stress-free. Her goal? Helping every child leave with a healthy smile and a big high-five.

When she’s not caring for tiny teeth, you can find her jamming to Taylor Swift, taking evening walks, reading with gummy bears in hand, or getting fiercely competitive during a round of Mario Kart. She also loves trying new restaurants and exploring local farmers markets around town.
